Job Description Summary:

Zllius Inc.  is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Product Owner Technical to join a growing team and work passionately staffing and consulting services in the Information Technology and Engineering space.  

A strong candidate must demonstrate the ability to create the leads with clients to get the projects and build strong ties with 100% result oriented. The ideal candidate would understand research methodologies commonly utilized and be able to design a research methodology with limited client input.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements
  • Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is properly groomed and prioritized
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal teams
  • Gather feedback from customers and end-users to continuously improve the product
  • Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the product
  • Responsible for managing the product lifecycle from project definition/scope through implementation.
  • Works with internal team members, Stakeholders, Project Management, Operations, SMEs and one or more teams to identify product features and enhancements to new and existing products, services, and tools and ensure they are effectively communicated and reflected in the product backlog.
  • Guides and supports teams by owning the vision for a release, deciding the priority and details of user stories identifying features to build in collaboration with stakeholders and team members, accepting features after satisfactory demonstration of development and testing, and accepting the implementation release.
  • Act as liaison between the business/customer and delivery team and represent the expectations of all interested stakeholder segments.
  • Develop & maintain business knowledge for assigned Spoke or business area
  • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers.
  • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
  • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
  • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. 
  • Experience working as a Product Owner or similar role in software development projects. 
  • Proficiency in using project management tools like Jira for backlog management and sprint planning. 
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including waterfall and agile methodologies. 
  • Ability to create user stories, wireframes, and mockups using tools like Balsamiq or UML diagrams. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify user needs and translate them into product requirements. 
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients. 
  • Experience in mobile application development is a plus. 

Education:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or Management Information System or related field

Work Location & Physical Requirements: 

  • This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
  • The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
