Job Description Summary:

Zllius Inc.  is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join a growing team and work passionately selling temporary staffing and consulting services in the Information Technology and Engineering space. The Business Development Manager's role is a mix of hunting for prospective clients, client visits, placement coordination and account management.

A strong candidate must demonstrate the ability to create the leads with clients to get the projects and build strong ties with 100% result oriented. The ideal candidate would understand research methodologies commonly utilized and be able to design a research methodology with limited client input.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Builds and manages a target list of new and existing client companies and contacts from various industries via frequent communication through face-to-face meetings, presentations, phone calls, and emails.
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective clients in the Southeast territory/market segment to expand the existing and generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
  • Oversee the Project activities regularly to ensure that the project efforts meet client’s expectations for contracted time, cost and performance.
  • Responsible for contributing to the development of detailed project plans; identifying resource needs to support delivery efforts and coordinating the daily activities of the development teams in alignment with project plans.
  • Lead the day-to-day activities for one or more project teams, ensure alignment to software delivery processes/best practices, and work with project managers to develop, establish and maintain project management standards and procedures.
  • Sources, prospects, and tracks client contacts to identify key decision makers to introduce our temporary staffing and consulting services in the accounting and finance space.
  • Blends client research and regular contact to develop and maintain trusting client relationships.
  • Executes on regular outbound marketing campaigns as part of the sales cycle.
  • Consistently achieves monthly activity goals, primarily in the areas of outbound sales activity, client visits and job order generation.
  • Develops and own all aspects of quoting, pricing and contract negotiating with clients.
  • Co-manages active contracts by keeping in regular communication with clients and contract employees.
  • Interfacing with business leaders and customers to prepare business requirements and high-level product requirements for new initiatives.
  • Prioritize project activities and coordinate resources to achieve information security goals.
  • Establish an effective approach to collaborating and communicating IAM/IdM risks with business and technical stakeholders to ensure that risks were clearly characterized, effective remediation plans are established, remediation milestones are met, and risk acceptance processes were appropriately followed per organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Own the proposal & SOW creation for the proposed execution.
  • Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts through B2B sales of software licensing, appliances, and services to accounts.
  • Responsible for selling and presenting products and services to current and net-new prospective enterprise accounts.
  • Prospect and identify key decision-makers within the targeted leads.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows when necessary.
  • Identify and understand our client's core security concerns and how they correlate to identify solutions that mitigate these cybersecurity risks.
  • Develops relationships cross functionally with other Zllius Inc. team members to facilitate sales pipelines across multiple divisions.
  • Researches and keeps current on hiring trends, labor market conditions, competitors, and the candidate market to be a trusted business adviser on our industry and customer needs.
  • Documents all aspects of business development and client communication activities in our ATS and CRM systems.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • This position requires clear communication internally and externally, strong organizational skills, resiliency, and a solution focused mindset!
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Business Development or Business relations related area
  • 5+ years of professional experience in consultative business development and business relations required
  • Strong proficiency in technology tools such as Microsoft products, database systems, and mobile applications
  • Strong aptitude in developing rapport and relationships with individuals at a variety of levels
  • Soft skills required - strong drive, persistence, consistency, organization, time management, written and verbal communication
  • Flexible mindset focused on delivering quality deliverables on tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.

Education:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business administration or management or related STEM field

Work Location & Physical Requirements: 

  • This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
  • The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
