Job Description Summary:  

Zllius Inc.  is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Sr. Kafka Developer to join a growing team and work passionately selling temporary staffing and consulting services in the Information Technology and Engineering space.  

A strong candidate must demonstrate the ability to create the leads with clients to get the projects and build strong ties with 100% result oriented. The ideal candidate would understand research methodologies commonly utilized and be able to design a research methodology with limited client input.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Must have strong understanding and experience of Kafka integration with Security components like Kerberos, LDAP, and Hadoop Systems. 
• Must have strong understanding and experience in creating Kafka producer, Kafka topic, and Consumer classes. 
• Must have strong understanding and experience in debugging and fixing streaming jobs by looking logs and configuration tuning.
• Must have strong understanding and experience in Implementing to reprocess the failure message in Kafka using offset id 

Experience & Knowledge:

• Must have Hands on experience with Apache Kafka, preferably Confluent Kafka, K-streams and Kafka Connect. 
• Must Experience in handling messaging services using Kafka 
• Must have Hands on experience creating Kafka producer, Kafka Consumer classes on Kafka cluster setup with the help of zookeeper 
• Strong knowledge and understanding on partition of Kafka messages and setting up the replication factor Kafka cluster.
• Having knowledge on Kafka admin activities to set up Kafka cluster on lower environment. 
• Hands on experience with stream processing using Kafka.
• Having experience on configuring Kafka to read and write messages from external programs.
• Hands on experience on monitoring Kafka using open-source Kafka Monitoring tool.

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or related field.

Work Location & Physical Requirements:

• This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
• The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
