Zllius Inc. has an opening for a Supply Chain Project Manager at our main office in Hoffman Estates, IL and resource might need to travel to client location as requested by client within U.S.A.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads Supply Chain Execution SCE projects in the resolution of customer project issues, escalating to appropriate parties as needed across warehouse management, transportation management, order management
- Collaborates with appropriate resources on customer's business, organization, and culture to strengthen their credibility as trusted advisors
- Helps validate and produce appropriate baseline project plans and templates.
- Assists in generating Statement of Work and customer proposal documents for future work after the initial assessment.
- Works with appropriate parties to plan project resource requirements
- Provides guidance, feedback, coaching, and developmental experiences to project team members
- Assesses project performance and communicates lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge
- Ensures project team adheres to policies, procedures, methodologies, and quality standards
- Provide feedback to the consultant team.
- Project planning and time management. Know the workload of the team and project requirements to balance assignments during the project.
- Manages services engagements including interactions with client project team and client executives
- Resolves all project issues including budget, timeline, accounts receivable, scope changes, software functionality and technology
- Keep updated an internal and external issue log
- Tracking and follow-up of the issues to resolve them as soon as possible
- Provides regular project communication and status reporting including financial status of the project to client and internal management.
- Track the budget for the billable projects. Forecast variances to have adjustments made to the budget.
- Keeps individual expenses within budget
- Manages project quality to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensures that projects deliver the value/ROI sold with the engagement
- Records billable time to customer, as appropriate
- Perform a risk assessment of each project phase
- Detect risks in a timely manner and provide actions to mitigate them before becoming an escalation
- Escalates issues that may have negative financial impact
- Manages service engagement budgets
- Reviews billing for all active accounts
- Maximizes margin on service engagements
- Ensures supporting project documentation is in order and submitted timely
- Assess project performance and communicates lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge
- Build and maintain close relations with implementation team to ensure understanding of original design and configuration.
Experience & Knowledge
- Knowledgeable of Retail systems functionality and technology
- heavy hitter Project Managers with Supply Chain experience.
- PMP or any other Project manager certification is a PLUS.
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager or similar capacity.
- Demonstrated project leadership experience in Supply Chain execution SCE capacity i.e. Order Management, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Knowledgeable of project management best practices.
- Skilled at leading and coordinating across diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to resolve complex problems with little to no guidance.
- Capable of facilitating (design sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor, coach and train.
- Excellent communication, client relationship and analytical skills.
- Skilled at leading difficult discussions and provide multiple options on a complex topic. Drive a resolution or bring other parties into the discussion to gain agreement.
- Well organized and consistently meets commitments.
- Negotiation skills
Education:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or related field
Work Location & Physical Requirements:
- This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
- The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
